Sarah Calhoun and her 10-year-old border collie, Nellie, relax on the couch in the small apartment at the back of the Red Ants Pants. Calhoun says she and Nellie spent many evenings on the couch reading Ivan Doig novels in the days when she had just started her business. Not just a successful entrepreneur, Calhoun is the driving force behind the Red Ants Pants Music Festival which brings crowds of people to White Sulphur Springs every summer and helps fund a foundation that supports women leaders, family agriculture and rural communities.
